I went here because I ordered from them on DoorDash one time and liked that they had vegetarian chive pockets and some vegetarian noodle options. I liked the tomato egg I ordered so wanted to try more items. The parking lot is free and can get crowded. However upon entering, there is space to sit but it's essentially take out only. They also don't have water for people sitting, you need to buy a bottled water. Food came out in to go containers piping hot and still tasted good. I got the chive pockets again and another noodle. However, I would overall prefer not to eat microplastics with my food and have all this trash so hopefully they can open up dining in service one day.

Although I do not have a picture, but the people there are super nice and very homey. The dumplings are a really good. I think that the dumplings is something that you should really try. The noodles are also not bad, but I think the dumpling was the star of the dishes.

Got the pan fried dumplings, the vegetarian pancakes, and the spicy noodles - it hit. The dumplings were as expected but I was pleasantly surprised with the noodles. They gave the perfect chew and very flavorful. Also noticed they have frozen dumplings for sale. I'm definitely going back and will be getting some frozen dumplings and a jar of their homemade chilli oil.

Bought a $30 bag of 50 XLB pork soup dumplings. Taste very fresh and juicy, my Shanghainese friend loved them. They even give you a stack of holed parchment paper to put inside the steamer!

Small little mom and pop shop where you order to go and you can eat it on the few tables they have. There's no waiters. Parking is available in the plaza shared with other establishments. The only thing I liked from here was the pork and leek pancake. Perfectly crisp and delicious. Everyone here was raving about their spicy wontons but honestly it was good but nothing to rave about. The pork and crab xlb was okay, their skin is a bit too thick for my liking. I still like DTF xlb and spicy wontons more. Forget the noodles, I don't recommend it at all. It's bland and flavorless.

The dumplings here are good. Famous for the signature "rectangle shape" dumplings (Hui Tou). Loved the PORK, vegetarian, fish, and anything with CHIVES dumplings. Didn't care for the beef hui tou dumplings - nor do I recommend the beef. This place is mainly Takeout only joint. A few here and there tables if you want to eat at the restaurant; everything is served in takeout containers. Their Hollywood restaurant (second location) has a nice full bar and a cozy beautiful setup for dine-in. I do love this flagship location because it's easy-peasy for takeout pickup and I can buy frozen dumplings by the dozen for the family. Payment: CARD and CASH. Parking: Street parking is easier and safe in the neighborhood, the mini-plaza situation has tight parking - a hot mess.
